Some people are comfortable in groups while others are more at ease talking to one person. All bereavement services are sponsored by Leavitt Funeral Services and are provided or monitored by professional licensed and trained personnel.
Audio-Visual Material - The funeral home maintains an extensive library of books, pamphlets, video tapes, etc. relating to grief for the lay person as well as the professional. Some of this is self-help material. The materials are available to any one and may be obtained by calling the funeral home.

This list from Allina Health recommends children’s books that deal with death and grief. There are suggestions for children of all ages, from preschool to age 12. They also have books for different types of losses, such as the loss of a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, or pet. With these books, you can start a meaningful conversation with your child and help them understand their feelings.
