Ronald E. Mayhew

Ronald Ewing Mayhew, 80, of Mineral Wells, went to be with the Lord February 7, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Parkersburg May 28, 1931 a son of the late William R. Mayhew Sr. and Gladys (Ewing) Mayhew Hupp.

He was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, where he worked in the food pantry, sang in the choir, and was an usher. He retired with 30 years of service from Kaiser Aluminun Co. in Belpre. He was an avid WVU fan, and he enjoyed woodworking, and country and gospel music.

He is survived by his wife of many years Annabelle "Ann" (Fluharty) Mayhew of Mineral Wells, two children; Robert A. Mayhew and wife Dorothy L. of Mineral Wells and Elizabeth A. Reeder and husband Dennis R. of Rockport, brother; John H. Mayhew of Parkersburg, sister; Dorothy L. Zunker of San Antonio, TX, three grandchildren; Michelle C. Mayhew, Shawn M. Mayhew, and Tiffany Nicole (Pratt) Fauntleroy, great grandchild Javian A. Fauntleroy, and several nieces and nepews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father Wilbur Hupp, two brothers; William R. Mayhew Jr. and Harry Paul Mayhew.

Sevices will be Friday 1:00 PM at The Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Kevin Lantz officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. On line condolences may be sent to the family @ www.leavittfuneralhome.com
